All instructors at Extra Innings Wrentham come with an extensive baseball or softball background. Whether they are former or current professional players, college all-stars, or high school or college coaches, Extra Innings Wrentham offers serious professional instruction!

Keith Tompkins

Keith graduated from Foxboro High in 2002, where as a senior he was voted to the Hockomock League All-Star team. Keith played summer ball throughout high school with Walpole Legion until he was 19. He still continues to play as well as manage the Wrentham Wrens of the Cranberry league while also being the head coach for the Walpole freshman baseball team. Keith is the lead catching instructor and is available for catching lessons as well as hitting and pitching lessons.

Justin O'Brien

Justin comes to Extra Innings with a world of experience and a great deal of knowledge for the game. Justin set many records during his playing days at both the high school & college level. He has traveled the country playing AAU baseball from the ages 11-17 (Ballplayers out of Ashland, MA). At King Phillip High School, Justin played for a state championship team his sophomore year and broke the school strikeout record while going 8-0 his senior year. That season he was a Sun Chronicle All-Star, Hockomock League All-Star, and team MVP. After graduating from King Philip, Justin took his game to Springfield College where he pitched for four years. Justin is currently available for private pitching lessons at Extra Innings Wrentham and will also instruct at our pitching clinics.

Steve Dunlea

Steve Dunlea was a three year letter winner and team MVP at Medfield High School. During his time at Medfield, he also lead his team to the south sectional finals and threw two no hitters during his senior season. Steve then went on to pitch at Boston College for four years. He was able to pitch against the Boston Red Sox each of his four years in their annual exhibition games and was named Co-Captain his senior year. After college, Coach Dunlea became the pitching coach at UMass Boston for two years before starting his teaching career in Mansfield, MA. He held the pitching coach job at Mansfield High School before starting his family. Steve is currently in his 14th year of teaching in Mansfield and will be available for pitching lesson at Extra Innings Wrentham.

Glen Conlon

Glen has been an area coach for the past 12 years. He started as a high school Freshman coach and maintained that position for seven years before becoming a Varsity Assistant. For the past four seasons Glen has been a Varsity Head Coach in the Hockomock League. Along with coaching high school baseball, Glen has been a Fall Baseball coach for the past six years. In the past several years Glen has also volunteered his time to help out as a coach with Foxboro Youth Baseball. Glen is available for hitting, fielding, and pitching lessons.

Myles Proe

Myles pitched for Salve Regina University Seahawks - NCAA, Graduated in 2010 with a B.S. in Economics. Myles was a Cape Cod League & NECBL Invitee for summer baseball while in college. Prior to Salve Regina, Myles was a 4 Year Starter at Xaverian Brothers High School and was named the 2006 Varsity Baseball Award Winner his senior year. While at Xaverian, Myles was a 4 Year Starting Pitcher for Norfolk Legion while in high school. Currently, Myles plays in the Boston Park League for Irish Village and has also logged some innings with Wrentham Wren’s (Cranberry League), Clarmac’s baseball, and the Franklin A’s. Myles is available for Pitching, Fielding, and Hitting Lessons.

Ryan D’Arcy

Ryan grew up in Franklin, MA. He played five years of AAU travel baseball and in 2006 he was on a National Championship team. Ryan played his high school ball at Sharon High where he was a pitcher and first baseman. After high school Ryan went on to a prep year at Bridgton Academy in Maine, which helped land him at Frostburg State University in Maryland. He continued his playing career at Frostburg as a pitcher and first baseman for the Bobcats. Ryan is available for pitching, fielding, and hitting lessons.
